What motivated you to start?

I’ve worked with women for the past 5 years to help them create processes & systems in their small businesses. Through working with them, I realized none of them had rituals in their lives and they didn’t feel inspired to create them. I also realized part of why they didn’t was because it felt like one more decision to make. What products should I use? Where should I get them? Can I trust the ingredients? I wanted to alleviate those decisions by creating a system of products that would inspire them to create rituals and eliminate the decision-making of where to start. I also wanted to help them create their own oasis no matter their location (hence Address Oasis).

What would you consider your hero product from your brand?

Our hero product is honestly the complete system since it represents one less decision plus the products work synergistically. But if I had to pick 1 single product, it would be our body whip. It’s the perfect moisturizer and skin barrier protector. It’s right in between a cream and a butter and our customers can’t get enough of it!

What standards/non-negotiables do you take into consideration when thinking about enhancing or developing new products?

When it comes to enhancing or developing new products for Address Oasis, we have several non-negotiable standards that guide our process. These include:

What do you think are some of the biggest challenges for "beauty/wellness" brands today?

In the beauty and wellness industry, some of the biggest challenges we face today include:

• Greenwashing: Misleading claims and marketing tactics can make it difficult for consumers to identify genuinely clean and natural products. This challenges brands like Address Oasis to be transparent and authentic in our messaging.
• Consumer Education: Many consumers are still learning about the importance of clean beauty and wellness. Brands need to invest in educating their audience about the benefits of natural products and how to incorporate them into their rituals.
• Competition: The beauty and wellness market is highly competitive. Standing out requires not only effective products but also a strong brand identity and a meaningful connection with customers.

What has been one of your proudest moments since creating Address Oasis?

One of our proudest moments at Address Oasis was when we received our first heartfelt testimonial from a customer whose skin and self-care routine were transformed by our products. It was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do—empowering individuals to embrace their natural beauty and nurture their skin with the goodness of nature. Adding to that, hearing our customers tell us how our products have helped them slow down and actually be intentional about the products they use and the time they spend with themselves. Seeing our mission & vision realized makes us very proud.

What can we expect in the future from Address Oasis?

The future of Address Oasis holds exciting developments. We plan to expand our product line, introducing new body care essentials that align with our core values of clean, natural, and effective solutions. Additionally, we are exploring sustainability initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint further. We aim to become a go-to brand for those seeking holistic wellness and natural skincare solutions. We also plan to explore lifestyle additions such as home care items and affirmation cards.

What advice would you give customers who want to make the most out of your brand?

How do you start your day?

I start my day with 20 minutes of stillness. I enjoy the quiet time when everyone is still sleeping, the streets aren’t busy, and no one is calling/texting me needing anything. After that, I immediately make my bed. I start each day by doing something that serves me before I start to serve the rest of the world.

Do you have a morning/evening ritual?

My evening ritual consists of a wind-down period. I reflect on what went right that day instead of being overwhelmed by all the things I still have to do tomorrow. I clean my workspace so that I can have a fresh start tomorrow. I then do my evening body care ritual which consists of our body wash, scrub, whip, and serum. I only scrub 3 times per week as not to overdo it. Then I make dinner and write out the items I need to complete for tomorrow.

What is your daily skincare routine?

For my face, I start with a gentle face wash, followed by a toner, serum, and moisturizer. For my body, I double cleanse daily with the Address Oasis Creamy Body Wash. In the body wash, my favorite scent is Oasis. I then use our Whipped Foaming Body Scrub in the scent Haven. Once out of the shower, and my skin is still damp, I spray on the Haven Perfume (coming soon) and follow it with the Haven Body Whip and Body Serum. Haven is my personal favorite scent in general. It takes me about an hour to complete this process but I love the idea of slowly and thoroughly loving on me.

Do you have a daily wellness routine?

Absolutely! I prioritize a daily wellness routine to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. My mornings begin with mindfulness practices, including quiet & stillness. Occasionally I will write in my gratitude journal when I am feeling overwhelmed with everything on my plate. It also sets a positive tone for the day ahead. Hydration is also crucial, so I start with a glass of warm water infused with lemon to kickstart my metabolism.

Address Oasis has also played a central role in my wellness routine. I've created a complete body care ritual using our natural and clean products. It’s more than a body care routine; it's a daily self-care ritual that allows me to connect with my body and prioritize self-love.

What is a beauty product or tool you can’t live without?

A beauty product that I cannot live without is the oil-infused face serum by Fresh Beauty. I love it and can’t imagine my face ritual without it. It has really transformed how moisturized my face feels.

What do you do for R&R when you need to reboot?

I’m a bit of a gamer so I love playing The Sims when I need to relax and reset my mind. Also, I absolutely love a staycation at a fancy hotel in town or spending the day at a spa. My favorite one here in Atlanta is Woodhouse.

What are your must haves when traveling?

When traveling, my must-haves are

• Our creamy body wash in the scent Oasis, our body serum in the scent Haven (I like to use it while traveling as a cuticle oil), and our triple butter body whip. I like to take my own products because I often travel to places where the water is hard and my skin needs extra love.
• I bring my journal. I find journaling therapeutic, especially when experiencing new places. It's a way to capture my thoughts, gratitude, and memories.
• Mini cleaning supplies. I like to spend about 20 minutes wiping down and sanitizing my hotel when I travel.

What self-care advice would you have given yourself 5 years ago?

If I could offer self-care advice to myself from five years ago, it would be this: "Take more time for self-care and mindfulness. It's not selfish; it's essential. Prioritize your well-being, listen to your body, and embrace the power of natural, clean beauty. Your journey towards self-love and inner balance will radiate outward, positively impacting all aspects of your life.
