By kissing my 8 year old daughter a thousand times.
Do you have a morning/evening ritual?
I love taking baths, it’s so effortless to just add some bath salts and essential oil to a bath and create a healing morning or evening ritual.
What is your daily skincare routine?
I wash my face everyday in the shower and then use Everyday Oil on my face. I have dry skin and face oils help to keep my skin soft, hydrated and supple.
Do you have a daily wellness routine?
I take herbs everyday, but I don’t always take the same herbs. I take herbs depending on what I need that day. Lately immunity is my primary concern, so I take Can’t Touch This. I also take Gut Check before meals and Clean Slate for daily detox.
What is a beauty product or tool you can’t live without?
I love facial Gua Sha. Gua Sha is portable, feels amazing and is great for anti-aging. I have dry skin, so I apply a face oil first and the Gua Sha helps the product absorb and hydrate my skin.
What do you do for R&R when you need to reboot?
Ooh, in summer I love gardening. Even though it’s physical work it recharges me. I just love planting seeds and plant babies and watching them grow. I especially love growing new things, this year I’m growing Japanese eggplants. They are long and skinny and great for grilling.
In winter, I love infrared saunas. Nothing beats lying around and relaxing and burning calories at the same time. Infrared saunas on the weekend, removes the previous week and gets me ready for the week ahead.
What are your must haves when traveling?
WTHN’s herbal blend Can’t Touch This for an immune boost! I start taking it a week before I leave town. I also take WTHN’s Gut Check with me to help with adventure eating on the road.
What selfcare advice would you have given yourself 5 years ago?
To never feel guilty about getting regular bodywork. It’s so important to get regular care such as acupuncture and cupping. We only get one body, so best take care of it.
Do you have any beauty/wellness advice for our followers?
Get to know your body. You should know it better than anyone else. Sure seek experts but also become the expert yourself. Your body will tell you how best to eat, exercise and take care, if you listen.
