Remember that your face isn’t the only area you need to moisturize; your hands, neck, chest, arms, and legs need it too! Try to avoid moisturizers that contain alcohol which can dry out your skin.

Wear Sunscreen Daily  

Sunscreen is vital for protecting our delicate Black skin from sun damage and premature aging. Protecting our skin from UV damage should always be at the top of our priority list when it comes to skincare. Wearing sunscreen daily helps to prevent sunburns as well as wrinkles and dark spots. If you want to avoid dark spots and wrinkles down the line, make sure you wear sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every single day! Even if it's cloudy outside—yup, even then—you should still apply sunscreen because UVA rays (the ones responsible for premature aging) can pass through clouds! So make sure that you’re consistently using sunscreen throughout the year - regardless of weather conditions - in order to keep your complexion looking luminous and healthy! 

You should also opt for physical sunscreens with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide as opposed to chemical ones. These will be softer on sensitive skin and won’t leave a white cast. Apply it every two hours if you're out in direct sunlight for more than 20 minutes at a time—don't forget about exposed areas like your neck and ears! Additionally, wearing protective clothing such as hats and sunglasses can help reduce exposure to UV rays by up to 50%.
